The Lord has blessed us richly at New Beginnings Baptist Church. We are blessed with a number of dedicated workers having a wide variety of skills that has allowed us develop a broad range of programs and ministries for all ages. (For more information on our various Ministries, click here.)

The first Sunday Worship Services of New Beginnings Baptist Church were held the third Sunday of January in 2000. Having no formal church building, worship services were held in a member's basement in Rochelle. The first Worship Service had 19 people in attendance.

Within just a few short weeks attendance had grown into the mid 30's and Worship Services were moved to an office building on the South end of Rochelle. Services remained at this location for just a few months when once again we were forced to move because there just was not enough room.

We began meeting in the Central School Gymnasium. Shortly after beginning to meet here, the Church Constitution was formalized and a Founder's Roll for membership was initiated. There were 37 members on the Founder's Roll of New Beginnings Baptist Church. Every Sunday Morning we set up chairs, pulpit, and sound equipment on the Gym floor. Every Sunday Night after Evening Worship, we broke it all down again. Our Wednesday Evening Services were held in the school hallway so our Children could have the Gym for 'more active' services. We met in the Gym for 25 months before the Lord blessed us with a building that we could formally call 'home'.

We moved into our current location in May of 2002. The Lord continues to bless and we continue to do our best to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
